New Rachael Ray Nutrish® Naturally Delish™ Dog Food Gets Basset Hound Approval!
The canine conclusion is in.
Rachael Ray Nutrish® Naturally Delish™, the Queen of Cooking’s new line of wet dog food that’s super premium and filled with goodies like real meat, fresh veggies and more, has received a waggingly warm welcome in the Smith Basset Hound household, plus in their bowls and bellies…! We really didn’t have any doubt that they would as Ms. Ray drew inspiration for these recipes right from her own kitchen!
Franklin and Ramsey gobbled these recipes up with their kibble, actually making a point to go around the kibble at first to get to the stew-like gravy-heavy bits of meat from the Naturally Delish™. They first had it for breakfast last Thursday, and hence were a little over-excited for dinner that night (of course there’s no telling if they knew they were getting more, but they are damn smart Hound dogs….).
Check out these Naturally Delish™ recipes:
- Chicken Paw Pie: Juicy bites of chicken with a medley of green beans and sweet potatoes in a savory chicken gravy.
- Savory Lamb Stew: Tender morsels of lamb mixed with carrots, spinach and brown rice make for a great-tasting classic stew.
- Hearty Beef Stew: Hearty chunks of beef plus garden vegetables like peas, carrots and potatoes, all simmered in a yummy homestyle beef gravy.
- Chicken Muttballs with Pasta (pasta is made from semolina wheat flour): Yummy chicken meatballs plus tender carrots, spinach and pasta cooked in a tasty chicken broth
I think the boys enjoyed the Beef Stew and Chicken Paw Pie the most. The consistency was great for them – we usually have to add water to their wet food to make it more “liquidy” and easier to absorb, more “gravy-ish,” if you will, but this was the perfect consistency for mixing with dry kibble. It made it an ideal meal for them.
I personally like the fact that there are all natural ingredients in these new dog food formulas from the Queen of Kitchens. In Rachael Ray Nutrish® Naturally Delish™, there’s no corn, no wheat, no soy and no fillers or artificial crap that some other dog food companies use, hence the word ‘premium’ right in the description of the food.
It’s just essential vitamins and minerals for nutritious delicious dog food.
So the final verdict is in: Rachael Ray Nutrish Naturally Delish™ is perfectly palatable for our pooches and they give it a hearty four paws up with Hound dog tail wags, woos and wet nose nudges!
Stay tuned for news on how you can score a set of four flavors of Naturally Delish for your dog…!
